Cerith Wyn Evans’s monumental work, C=O=D=A 2019–20, has inspired a programme of music performances from musicians at the Victorian College of the Arts at the University of Melbourne.

One of the leading artists of his generation, Wyn Evans was the first artist to represent Wales at the Venice Biennale in 2003 and participated in Documenta 11 in 2002 among many other international exhibitions and projects.
For Who Are We Now?, the NGV and British Council, together with musicians from the Victorian College of the Arts at the University of Melbourne, present two programs of music – an artform central to the artist’s practice – surrounding and responding the colossal work of C=O=D=A.
Wyn Evans was the first artist to represent Wales at the Venice Biennale in 2003 and participated in Documenta 11 in 2002 among many other international exhibitions and projects. His conceptual practice incorporates a wide range of media, often exploring the relation between light, text, thought and meaning, and informed by poetry and music.
