In Conversation with William Barton

Widely recognised as one of Australia’s leading didgeridoo players and composers, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist William Barton shares some of the fascinating stories from his musical upbringing and Kalkadunga heritage – and how he uses his music as a language to connect and converse with people from musical and cultural backgrounds.

Listen to William in conversation with the Barbican Centre as part of the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s Digital Residency with the Barbican last year.

William performs with Chineke! Chamber Ensemble at the Edinburgh International Festival on 12 August 2022.
