Dr Stuart Murray spoke to 2GB about Sports Diplomacy and Novak Djokovic

Dr Stuart Murray spoke to Joe Hildebrand about Sports Diplomacy and Novak Djokovic on 2GB ahead of the upcoming conference – ‘Who are we now, as seen through the lens of sport’ happening March 2022.

Presented by the Sports Diplomacy Alliance, this one-day Dialogue investigates the role that sport plays in the relationship between the UK and Australia. Leading academics, diplomats and sector experts from both countries will review our shared sporting past, celebrate the diversity of our present ‘Sportscape’ and re-consider how we can harness sport for better social, diplomatic, and economic relations, as well as share best knowledge and practice on Sports Diplomacy. The Dialogue is part of the UK/Australia Season will be held concurrently in Queensland, host of the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2032 Olympics, and London, home of the 2012 Olympic Game.
